关于我们

The goal of NTFB’s Garden Program is to serve as a gardening information resource to local communities, individuals, volunteers, and community gardens.

Our Garden Specialist and garden programming supports our community through:

  • Food Donations from NTFB’s Community Garden Network. Each community garden donates between 10% to 100% of all weekly harvests to local agencies. Harvests can include fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs & eggs.
  • Garden education programs and coaching to assist in the development of community gardens within NTFB’s 12-county service area.
  • Onsite tours of our Jan’s Garden - a production and learning garden.
  • Garden training & education - We deliver garden classes and education, workshops and kids summer camps (insert link to Kids camp – https://ntfb.org/event/kids-camp-2/ )that promote sustainable, organic, and regenerative gardening practices. Our website contains many education and learning resources. (Sergio – please put link to our Education & Resources landing page)
  • Provide NTFB Partner Gardens within our Community Garden Network with:
    • Garden supplies, resources, and information
    • Free visibility on the NTFB website
    • An annual Partner Garden Manager Event
    • Free spring vegetable transplants
    • Free NTFB Community Garden Network Affiliate sign
  • Collaborate with local organizations to combat food insecurity
