Trisha Cunningham Recognized as one of NBC 5’s Unstoppable Women
The campaign acknowledges trailblazing DFW females during Women’s History Month.
North Texas Food Bank President and CEO Trisha Cunningham is among the “Unstoppable Women” being honored this month by NBC 5 and Telemundo 39.
NBC 5 and Telemundo 39’s Unstoppable Women initiative recognizes females in the Dallas-Fort Worth area whose outstanding careers have made a positive impact on the community.
Trisha is being honored for her commitment to closing the hunger gap in North Texas through her leadership of the NTFB, as well as her volunteerism throughout the community with organizations such as Feeding Texas, Girl Scouts, International Women’s Forum, The Dallas Assembly and Executive Women’s Roundtable.
“As the President and CEO of North Texas Food Bank, with a remarkable 30-year career as a global marketing and communications executive at Texas Instruments, she embodies resilience, leadership and empowerment,” the article reads.
Along with the feature on NBC 5’s website, the Women’s History Month honor includes a 15-second PSA that will run on NBC 5 plus social media coverage.
Nada Ruddock, vice president of Community Impact at NBC 5, nominated Trisha for the recognition.
Other women featured include Dr. Karen Duncan, President and CEO of JPS Health Network; Michelle Bobadilla, senior associate vice president for Outreach and Community Engagement/assistant provost for Hispanic Student Success at UT Arlington; and Michelle Green-Ford, CEO and President of the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, among others.
