NTFB Celebrates Pride Month

Volunteers from NTFB’s internal affinity group QUEERSpace joined community members and NTFB partners to pack and box food for their neighbors facing hunger during a Pride Month shift at North Texas Food Bank on June 7.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to pack with pride! With your support, 7,800 meals were packaged for the 1 in 6 North Texans facing hunger.

Later in the month, NTFB staff members and QUEERSpace Affinity group members attended Dallas Pride where they assisted neighbors in applying for SNAP and other benefits. They also handed out resources, supported NTFB partner agencies and connected with community members while passing out stickers and temporary tattoos.

QUEERSpace is a group that includes members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as allies.
