What are Partner Grants?

NTFB funds that are awarded through two avenues:  1. Competitive grants process and 2. On-going emergency aid.

Who is eligible?

Any NTFB (Sharing Life or Crossroads) partner that is in good standing.

Grant Timeline:

October 29th - Information session

November 12th - Grant application opens

December 2nd - Information session

December 19th - Grant application due

March - April - Site Visits

May - Funding decisions

June - Funding granted

Our Partner Agency Grants offer funding to partners in multiple ways. First, there is a competitive grants process which is completed on an annual basis. To qualify for a grant, agencies must meet all eligibility criteria and submit a grant request in the competitive process.​ Second, we offer an emergency aid grant that is open year round and applications can be submitted as emergencies arise. Please see details about emergency aid grants below.

Access To Food

Capacity Building

These funds are available to expand food delivery or pantry services in a high need area.

Holistic Support

Hope For Tomorrow

This funding is available to expand or develop new holistic services that help remove barriers to food security.  This includes financial literacy programs, job readiness or other services that are tied to food security.

Partner Network

Neighbor Experience

These grants are designed to help our partners increase efficiency or improve neighbor experience in current food delivery services.

Emergency Aid Funding

NTFB offers emergency aid funding that is available on an on-going basis.  The awards are limited to one grant award annually, for a maximum amount of $10,000.
