Trisha Cunningham is President and CEO of the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), a $200 million nonprofit focused on eradicating hunger in a diverse 13-county service area. This area has the 4NS highest number of people and the 4th highest number of children in the country who do not know where to find their next healthy meal. Through direct and feeding partner programs, the food bank team of more than 200 employees and 35,000 volunteers provided access to a record 106 million physical meals in their last fiscal year - the most-ever physical meals distributed in our history and a nearly 10 percent increase from the previous year. Additionally, NTFB provided access to more than 19 million meals through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Before North Texas Food Bank, Cunningham was a 30-year global marketing, communications, branding, and public affairs executive at Texas Instruments, where she most recently served as Chief Citizenship Officer striving for global social impact. She serves as board chair for Feeding Texas and a director of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Dallas Chapter. She formerly served on the boards of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, Leadership Women, and Volunteer Now. She is a member of the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance, where she teaches in the Nonprofit Governance Certificate Program, Rotary Club of Park Cities, Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) Executive Women’s Roundtable, DRC Leadership Dallas Alumni, United Way Women of Tocqueville, and The Dallas Assembly.
Cunningham has received numerous awards including DCEO 500 Most Influential Business Leaders, Women in Business and Most Inspiring Leader awards, Texas Women’s Foundation Maura Women Helping Women Award, Dallas Business Journal Women in Business honoree, United Nations Global Leadership Award, Collin County Business Alliance Leadership Award, D Magazine, 78 Women Who Make Dallas Great, Dallas Morning News Texan of the Year finalist, Leadership Dallas Distinguished Alumni Award and Junior League of Collin County Nonprofit Executive of the Year. She also received Murray State University’s highest alumni award.
Trisha has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems with an emphasis in business from Murray State University. She and her husband, Greg, reside in Fairview, Texas (Collin County) and have two grown children.
