Garden Network

Jan's Garden 1

Our mission is to promote food security across NTFB’s 12-county service area through garden programming and weekly fresh food donations from the NTFB Community Garden Network members. The harvests are donated to local food pantries and agencies providing food to communities we serve including community kitchens, churches, synagogues, universities, colleges, community centers and others. We support communities grow their own food and create sustainable, productive gardens utilizing organic and regenerative farming practices. We collaborate with local health, educational, other gardens, universities, and state & local organizations to promote best-practice garden education. As of February 2025, NTFB’s Community Garden Network includes our onsite garden, Jan’s Garden, located at our Plano Distribution Center on Mapleshade Lane in Plano as well as over 18+ Partner Gardens.
