URGENT RECALL NOTICE: Hillshire Brands Company Corn Dogs and Sausage on a Stick Products
The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is alerting neighbors that Hillshire Brands Company has recalled certain corn dog and sausage on a stick products. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reports the products may contain pieces of wood in the batter.
NTFB has confirmed that these products were in our inventory and has instructed all food pantries in our network to dispose of them.
If you received Hillshire Brand corn dogs or sausage on a stick from a local food pantry before this recall, please check your freezer and throw the products away.
The recalled items were packaged between March 17, 2025, and September 26, 2025.
