Copy of Ways to Partner with NTFB to Distribute Food
Join us in our mission to close the hunger gap in North Texas.
Food 4 Kids
The NTFB works with educators to identify chronically hungry students and provide them with a bag full of nutritious, nonperishable, kid-friendly snacks at the end of each week.
SNAP and Social Services Assistance
The NTFB SNAP and Social Services Assistance team is dedicated and committed to educating; providing swift and convenient SNAP and other Your Texas Benefits application assistance to our neighbors within the 12 counties we serve.
Senior Programs
Feed seniors in your neighborhood by partnering with NTFB to store and distribute CSFP/PAN senior boxes or promote senior nutrition by partnering with an established CSFP distribution site to provide volunteer support.
Child Programs
NTFB works with campuses to distribute nutritious, non-perishable items and produce. These operate at elementary, middle and high schools as well as on college campuses and serve students, their families and staff.
Nutrition Services
The Nutrition Services Team provides a variety of in-person and virtual resources such as nutrition workshops, educational handouts, healthy recipes for distribution, and more, all free of charge to organizations serving low-income and food insecure audiences.
Garden Programs
Our mission is to promote food security across NTFB’s 12-county service area through garden programming and weekly fresh food donations from the NTFB Community Garden Network members.
FoodRx - Healthcare Partnerships
A new NTFB program, FoodRx partners with healthcare locations to close the gap by making nutritious food and other wellness support available to individuals seeking medical care.
Agency Partnerships
NTFB partners with hundreds of local non-profit organizations, like food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior centers, and other organizations throughout our 12-county service area to distribute food to those in need.
