Anne Readhimer Selected for Leadership Texas

International Women’s Day spotlight: NTFB’s Chief Impact Officer participating in selective statewide leadership program.

Congratulations to North Texas Food Bank Chief Impact Officer Anne Readhimer on being selected as part of Leadership Texas’ 2025 cohort.

As part of a year-long program, Anne will join other women in broadening her perspective on issues critical to Texas, including education, health care, the environment and the economy.

“I’m looking forward to joining the Leadership Women Class of 2025, and the opportunity to connect with top women across the state as we advance as leaders,” Anne says.

Anne volunteers alongside NTFB and Dallas College volunteers at a recent Spring Break Distribution.

At North Texas Food Bank, Anne leads strategies to drive systemic change to combat hunger and develop sustainable food security solutions. She manages the SNAP and Social Services Assistance team, the Community Partner Relations Team and NTFB programs, including School Pantry, Food 4 Kids, the senior program, Nutrition Services and Jan’s Garden.

She was selected for Leadership Texas through a competitive application process and will join a group of 90 professionals from throughout the state. The flagship program of Leadership Women, Leadership Texas is designed to expand participants’ understanding of cultural, social and economic shifts while equipping them with the knowledge and networks necessary to navigate and lead in a rapidly evolving landscape. Since its inception in 1983, Leadership Texas has provided a platform for leaders to explore challenges beyond their industries and spheres of influence, fostering a deeper understanding of the interconnected forces shaping the state.

The theme for the 2025 program year is “Navigating Leadership Challenges Ahead: Guiding the Future of the Lone Star State.” Anne and other participants will travel to Houston, Abilene and the Rio Grande Valley to explore how each city is addressing key opportunities and challenges.

Prior to NTFB, Anne was Senior Director of Fresh Food Innovation for 7-Eleven, Inc., and she also worked for Yum! Restaurants International, supporting the Pizza Hut and KFC brands. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science and a Master of Science in Food Science from Texas A&M University.
