Join us and make a difference together!

Food from the Bar is an annual campaign and friendly competition among the North Texas legal community where participants form teams to raise funds, collect food, and volunteer to fight summer childhood hunger. The campaign helps raise awareness of food insecurity, while providing nutritious meals to children and families facing hunger during the summer months.

Food from the Bar welcomes legal associations, solo attorneys, committees, law firms, clubs, and legal organizations of all types.

“I support Food from the Bar because this campaign helps bridge the gap for 1 in 5 North Texas children experiencing food insecurity, many of whom lose access to school‑provided meals during the summer months.”

“Helping NTFB raise funds to fill a gap over the summer that allows kids to avoid having to wonder where their next meal is coming from and to have the type of security every child deserves is a meaningful experience and I am honored to have assisted with the Food from the Bar campaign for years.
