Thank you for your interest in ending hunger in your community. As an Agency Partner of NTFB, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of the North Texas Food Bank’s mission to close the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food.

NTFB partners with hundreds of local non-profit organizations, like food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior centers, and other organizations throughout our 12-county service area to distribute food to those in need. If you are interested in partnering with NTFB to distribute food, please review the criteria, partnership benefits, and next steps below.

Criteria

Serves neighbors in one of the following counties: Collin, Rockwall, Hunt, Ellis, Lamar, Grayson, Fannin, Navarro, Kaufman, Hopkins, Delta or Dallas.

  1. Operates as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
  2. Offers services directly to at least 51% of people deemed "in need of assistance"; that are free of charge and with no requirement to attend any kind of religious service.
  3. Has proof of successful and sustainable operations.
  4. Has food storage space at a commercial address in accordance with certified food safety standards.
  5. Contracts a licensed pest control company to treat all program sites, at minimum, twice per year or in accordance with the timeframe approved by pest control company standards.
  6. Other requirements may be identified at the time of your application completion.

 

Note: Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee approval of partnership. Other factors may be taken into consideration when approving agencies for partnership. Examples of other factors include but are not limited to: hours and frequency of distribution; whether the organization’s location is in an underserved area; the number of Agency Partners already operating in the area.
