Triple Your Impact During Year-End Giving

Thank you for providing nourishment and hope to your neighbors.

Between now and December 31, every gift made to North Texas Food Bank’s annual Face of Hunger campaign will go three times as far thanks to a generous matching opportunity from the Beaumont Foundation of America and Sammons Enterprises.

That means every $1 donated to support your neighbors facing hunger will provide nine nutritious meals. Gifts will be tripled up to $300,000.

The match comes at a critical time. Texas continues to lead the nation in hunger, and the Dallas-Fort Worth area now ranks third among metroplexes for the number of people, with nearly 1.3 million individuals not always knowing where their next meal will come from. In the 12 counties served by North Texas Food Bank, 1 in 6 people—including 1 in 5 children—are facing hunger. And with the holidays and the recent government shutdown—when we saw even more families turning to us for assistance—we’re relying on the generous support of you and our community to help restock our shelves so we can continue to meet rising demand.

That includes neighbors like Taylor, a teacher who visits an NTFB partner pantry each month along with his wife, also an educator. The parents of four say while they both work full-time, the cost of living has outpaced their salaries, and they struggle to pay for all of their necessities.

“Thank you,” Taylor said, speaking after shopping for produce, pantry staples and protein at a partner pantry. “You guys are the difference between us eating and not.”

As 2025 comes to a close, we want to express our gratitude for your partnership as we work to ensure neighbors like Taylor and his family have access to the nourishment they need to thrive.

If you’re considering a year-end gift, please keep these deadlines in mind to ensure your donation qualifies for 2025 tax benefits:

· Gifts made by wire or stock transfer must be initiated by December 31.

· Checks must be postmarked by December 31.

· Secure online donations can be made at NTFB.org until 11:59 p.m. on December 31.
