Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors Continues Serving in Prosper

A fire destroyed the North Texas Food Bank partner pantry, but food assistance is still available.

Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors (N3) resumed its regular operating hours on Monday, February 3, following a fire at their facility in mid-January.

N3, the largest pantry in Prosper, was significantly damaged by a fire that started in a neighboring business on January 18. While the nonprofit fundraises and works toward restoration of its pantry, they are resuming normal operations using an NTFB Container Pantry that was placed on-site last week.

The Container Pantry provides N3 the space to store enough groceries to continue serving the around 300 families they see each week.

“We’re their primary source of food,” N3 Executive Director Robert Daleo told CBS News. “What matters is that we answer that call to feed the hungry.”

Each family facing hunger who visits the pantry is provided with between 50 and 70 pounds of food. Appointments are available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

Along with food, families have access to clothing, toiletries and other resources. For assistance, visit N3foodpantry.org or call 469-296-8877.
