Donate on Giving Tuesday for a Chance to Triple Your Impact

Thanks to two anonymous foundations, gifts made on December 2 will go further for North Texans facing hunger.

Support North Texas Food Bank by unlocking a mystery two- or three-time match this Giving Tuesday, December 2.

Thanks to the support of two anonymous foundations, all donations made on Giving Tuesday will be doubled or tripled, up to $50,000. That means each $1 donated will help provide six or nine meals for children, families and older adults facing hunger across North Texas.

All donations made support families like Maria’s.

Maria, mom to an 8-, 1- and 16-year-old, visits NTFB partner Brother Bill’s Helping Hand’s pantry at the Dallas ISD Resource Center South each month to pick up groceries.

“I love coming here,” she said, adding that her kids get excited when they can make a meal with what they’ve received. “Tonight, we’re going to have spaghetti!”

With three kids, Maria says it seems like they never have enough food, especially during school breaks when her older two are home. “They eat and eat,” she says.

Her husband works out of town, and she said the ability to shop for food she knows her kids will eat is a huge help when it comes to making ends meet for their family.

Across NTFB’s 12-county service area, more than 744,000 people—or 1 in 6—face hunger.
