See A Christmas Carol at Dallas Theater Center

The Dallas Theater Center and NTFB are teaming up once again to fight hunger through DTC’s annual hit production of A Christmas Carol. DTC will collect funds during its shows, which are on stage November 29 through December 28 at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, 2400 Flora St. Tickets can be purchased here.

Order a Holiday Meal at Norma’s Café

As part of its Gather & Give program, Norma’s will donate six meals to the NTFB for every Holiday Family Dinner purchased. The meals feed six to eight people and are available until December 23. Find out more here.

Shop NTFB’s Harvest Market

Pick up unique holiday cards, buy seeds for the gardener in your life, select an NTFB hat and more at the NTFB’s Harvest Market at the Perot Family Campus in Plano. The market also features Hunger Bugs Me, NTFB’s children’s book that uses the story of Lady Bug and her friends to teach children about hunger and how they can be a part of the solution.

Enjoy a Protein Box at Starbucks

For every protein box sold from now until January 2, Starbucks will donate the equivalent of one meal to Feeding America. Funds raised will be split, with 90% of local funds going toward the NTFB and 10% going to Feeding America. Get the details here.

Donate while Shopping at Crate and Barrel

Through December 24, customers will have the chance to give back to Feeding America at the register and online at Crate and Barrel. They’re also selling several items that support Feeding America:

Windham Mugs and Bowls, $10 donated with each item purchased

Chef’s Hat and Coat for Kids, $5 donated per purchase

CB2 Mug, $5 donated with each mug purchased

Hudson and Grace HG Tart Kumquat Dish Soap, 32 ounces, $1 donated with each purchase

Honor a Loved One with a Tribute Card

Give $25 or more in honor of someone you’re thinking of this season and the NTFB will send a holiday ecard letting them know of the gift made in their name. Each $1 donated provides access to three meals for children, older adults and families experiencing hunger. Send a card here.

Purchase a Ticket to Disco Presents’ Lights All Night Music Festival

The December 28-29 music festival at Dallas Market Hall supports the North Texas Food Bank with a donation that will help provide 15,000 meals for our neighbors facing hunger. Tickets are available here.

Give Back with your CROCS Purchase

Through CROCS Cares, customers can add a donation to Feeding America to every online purchase made through December 31.

Volunteer to Support Your Neighbors

Several of the NTFB’s partner agencies are still looking for volunteers for distributions and events in December. There are also opportunities to support senior food box distributions. Or register for a pack and box shift at the NTFB’s Perot Family Campus in January. Find a list of opportunities here.

Ask About Giving at the Grocery Store

Several grocers are hosting register campaigns this season that allow you to fight hunger by rounding up or giving back while checking out.
