How do I make a donation?
You can make a monetary donation by:

How can I make a product donation?
Your local food bank to food rescue organization can assist you in determining what items they are in need of at the present time.  If you wish to donate grocery products directly, please find your local Member Agency here.

Can I make a donation in someone’s honor or in memory of a loved one? Yes!  Every day more and more people are choosing alternative gift options for birthdays, holidays, memorials and many other occasions.  Click here to make an honor or memorial gift .  Fill in the blank space with the names and addresses of who you would like an honor card sent to.  Or, if you are making a gift in memory of a loved one, please provide the name and address of who the card should be sent to, who the gift is in memory of, and who the gift is from. 

How do I send in my company’s matching gift form?
First, make sure that our organization meets your company’s requirements to be able to make the match possible. Some companies can only provide a match for specific types of institutions, educational institutions for example. Once you have verified that your company will match a gift to our organization, please send their form to:

You can also your send your matching gift information by fax at 214.331.4104 or email: matchserv@ntfb.org. Once we confirm that we have received your gift, we will complete the appropriate matching gift paperwork and send it to your company for processing.

Will I get a receipt for my donation?
Yes, once your donation has been processed, you will receive a thank-you letter/receipt which you can keep for your personal records.  You should receive this acknowledgement 4-6 weeks after we receive your donation.

How can I be removed from the mailing list?

How can I reduce the amount or frequency of the mail I receive from North Texas Food Bank?
If you wish to reduce the amount of mail you receive from North Texas Food Bank, please call us at 214.330.1396 and ask to speak with one of the Donor Services personnel.  There are various options for reduced mailing schedules and we welcome your call to discuss these options with us. 

How long will it take before I stop receiving mail from North Texas Food Bank?
It takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks to fully remove a donor from our mailing list.

Will my donation be used wisely?
Yes! North Texas Food Bank is proud to share with you our 98% Charitable Commitment rating, reported in the 2005 edition of Forbes Magazine’s annual survey of 200 major charities.  This rating was determined by the percentage of total financial and product donations devoted to programs.

If I donate to my local food pantry, am I also donating to North Texas Food Bank?
Over 290 food pantries are Members of the North Texas Food Bank Network.  Each is a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Donations to North Texas Food Bank support this regional Network of food pantries.  If you are interested in learning more about your local Member Agency, click here.   

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, North Texas Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
