Donnye Shelby
Controller

Donnye Shelby serves the North Texas Food Bank as Controller and is responsible for the financial management of the Food Bank’s financial assets and has direct supervision over the Accounting department.

Prior to accepting an accounting position with NTFB in 1993, Donnye was a Staff Accountant II-Senior at the Dallas Accounting Office of the McDonald Corporation for over five years. During his tenure at the McDonald Corporation, he was responsible for the financial management of company owned and operated restaurants located in Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, and Nevada.

Currently, Donnye resides in Mesquite with his wife and teenage son, and a grown daughter who also resides in Mesquite. He earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Prairie View A&M University in 1984. Donnye is a member, 2008 Leadership Dallas, Dallas Texas.

When not at the Food Bank, Donnye enjoys fishing, attending local sporting events and church activities with his family and friends.
